Adee Ardon’s works are inspired by her use of pastels and the movement it creates. The work “Fields” depicts an Israeli landscape, most prominently associated with the kibbutz. By using vibrant colors and playing with perspectives, Ardon brings new life to this landscape, so ubiquitous in Israel. Following the attack on several kibbutzim on October 7, these colors remind the spectator of the potential and optimism at the core of the kibbutz way of life. Ardon’s work has been exhibited globally, most recently in Israel and Paris.
